Khomyn Talyn Takhi established a volunteer ranger network to accelerate conservation work in Khomyn Tal and engagement of the local residents in it. The 11 rangers are mandated by the Environmental Ministers’ decree No. A – 110. KTT delivered basic training to the rangers and provided with detailed maps on the localization and binoculars. The rangers will conduct monitoring survey and census of the Mongolian gazelle, Saiga and Black tailed gazelle, gathering of basic data on a quarterly basis. The data will be compiled and analysed by the KTT to inform the management decisions.
