Shiirav Oros is a representative of local people who is keen to improve livelihoods along with conserving the nature of Khomyn Tal. He has been actively involved in conservation activities and sustainable development. His father, late Mr Oros, was engaged in reintroduction of wild horses from the very beginning throughout his lifetime. Shiirav is in favor of sustaining the number of livestock proportionate to pasture carrying capacity. He raises camels and has been supplying baby camel wool to a French company producing wool products.
